New Collector out now
The new issue of the Collector has now been published and will be delivered soon to Member's mats all over the world. The articles are, as always, wide ranging. An item from David Franks focusses on the Left Book Club and Penguin Specials in the period between May 1936 and June 1941. Brian Alderson looks at the Penguin-Ladybird connection, and the first in a 2 part epic story of 'Fun in Berlin' (the title shortened as per Len Deighton's suggestion) has been submitted by Caroline Maddison. Collection points cover an esoteric range of topics from Harland Miller to Maigret and Henry VIII to Penguin books by the yard.
