Inspired by a splendid article written some years ago by Russell Edwards and reprinted here with its nine illustrations, the core of this 144-page book is a gallery of 112 more of the advertisements which appeared in Penguins, reproduced in colour at close to their original size. An Afterword written by Tim Graham expands on the earlier article and the Index lists the dates when the advertisements appeared in Penguins.
