The Miscellany series was an attempt to make some of the more important material from the Newsletters available again but in a revised and consolidated form where appropriate.
MISCELLANY 2 was the first to focus on a single theme, in this case, on how Penguin Books responded to publishing during WW2 and principally on the wartime series aimed specifically at the forces. The topic has been explored further in Miscellany 11.
