As surely as the seasons spin around, Penguin collectors continue with their love of all things triband and beyond. Once the summer holidays end we can be sure that the AGM is not far away and so it is that the Trustees are looking forward to seeing those members that can get to Reading for the annual weekend meet, greet and chat... The summer weather has definitely broken and some of us have now had more than enough “welcome” precipitation for it to have sunk in that the situation is back to UK normal. Well received, and something that we can never have too much of, has been the PCS package that arrived since my last Latest News blog and which hopefully provided interesting holiday reading. The Society's Annual Meeting this year will be held from Friday 16 to Sunday 18 September in the city of Sheffield. Members and non-members are equally welcome to attend.The main event will take place on Saturday 17 September at Showroom Workstation, a base for cultural activities converted from a handsome 1930s former car showroom.
