PCS AGM 2021
The following statement has been sent to me by Enid Stephenson.
"It will, I suspect, come as no surprise that the PCS Trustees have decided to cancel the Annual Meeting scheduled for Aldeburgh this September 2021. As I am sure you will readily appreciate there is continuing uncertainty about how long the Covid restrictions will have to remain in place for venues and travel. The Trustees recognised that these would make the meeting less attractive and mean fewer members would feel able to attend.
Striking a positive note I am delighted it has been agreed the 2022 Annual Meeting will be held in Aldeburgh from Friday 30 September to Sunday 2 October 2022. Most or all of the weekend programme planned for 2020 and again for 2021 (!) will remain in place. I realise that it is a long way off but we thought it important at this uncertain time to put the 2022 date firmly in the diary.
The 2021 AGM will still be held on the planned date, Saturday 4 September 2021, but remotely. The formal notice and details of the Zoom event that Trustees hope to hold will be circulated with the June Collector."
