PCS AGM and annual get together 2019
This year the Annual Meeting is in Lincoln from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 September at Bishop Grossteste University which is half a mile north of the city centre.
As usual practice, many members (partners/guests are also welcome) will stay at the same hotel, eat together in a pub on Friday night, attend the Meeting during the day on Saturday and take part in an informal dinner that evening.
Saturday's organisation includes much Penguinary discussion, the AGM and a display of Penguin books by members (many of which will be for sale). If you have books that you would like to sell/swap you are encouraged to bring them along - you are unlikely to find a more willing audience of Penguinophiles in one place at one time!
Whilst it would be helpful if attendees could let us know that they are coming, it is not mandatory unless you would like any of the optional extras (lunch/sales table). Under these circumstances, please contact either James Mackay or myself (private message through any of PCS social media or email me at [email protected]).
If you have not sent a return for the Saturday informal dinner but would like to attend, you should contact James immediately as although we have reached full capacity he will maintain a reserve list in case of cancellations.
With a number of intriguing bookshop entries in Inprint, the big York Book Fair within driving/rail distance in full swing on Friday, and as much book related discussion as you might want, this promises to be an excellent weekend.
