Collector 92 and the AGM

By now I hope the postman will have delivered the UK and European copies of Collector 92 and with a bit of luck further flung Members (from a mailing perspective) will be able to confirm that it has arrived with them.

There are several nice links with Collector 91 (offering a good reason to get it out and re-read!), not least some more Terence Greer cover designs in a fascinating article by Kathy Mezei. You will see that the cover of the journal itself is a Tom Etherington design using a fabulous unpublished Greer drawing. The section Drawing Penguins continues on the design theme with an interesting article by Naomi Games on Hans Unger; Joe Pearson talking about the much awaited “White Horses” (which is included in the package) and finally a look at Noah's Ark.

The next section includes a piece by Sally Addison, the 2018 Bursary winner, on Peter Mayer as well as the rather intriguingly titled 'How to Fillet a Penguin'. Finally a section of three interesting looking articles under the section headed Peguinthusiasm before we turn to the usual points, obituaries and news.

Accompanying Collector 92 this month is “White Horses” (as mentioned above), a postcard of the cover (further copies of this and all PCS postcards are available in the Catalogue) and an A5 pamphlet with details of the AGM.

Please take a few minutes to check out those AGM details and respond where necessary to James. Lincoln looks like an extremely attractive and interesting place to visit. Inprint shows a healthy list of bookshops located within the city.
