Annual Meeting 2019
Next Year's Annual Meeting will be held in Lincoln on Saturday 13 September. We will meet at Grosseteste University, on its campus half a mile north of the city centre. Our programme will as usual begin on the Friday evening, 13 September, and end on the Sunday morning, 15 September, with meals together on both Friday and Saturday evenings.
The University offers overnight accommodation in its own guest house, Longdales House, and will hold all of its 18 rooms for us until the end of January. Please book before then by e-mailing [email protected] or phoning 01522 583681, saying that you are a member of the Society. There are of course many other hotels and guest houses in the city.
Lincoln, on a hill and founded by the Romans, has many qualities which attract visitors, including the cathedral considered by Pevsner to be the finest in England. Members will be able to attend the big York Book Fair on the Friday and continue to our meeting.
