The Penguincubator rides again!
At the end of last month there was a flurry on Twitter when Penguin Books announced the arrival of a book vending machine at Exeter Station. All Penguin collectors hanker after finding that most illusive of holy grails, the Penguincubator, and this is its latest incarnation.
A couple of the UK papers picked up the story but as it was splashed on social media it largely remained there. However, my eagle eyed (and currently best) contributor spotted this in Fine Books Magazine. It is a neat write up for those for whom the news has slipped past.
I am also interested to see that Penguin are offering other mainline stations the opportunity of hosting a unit. There has been a big push from the Cambridge contingent of book lovers (staunchly supported by members of the Penguin Researchers Network!).
