Trustees are pleased to announce that the 2016-17 Post Graduate Bursary has been awarded to Sian Heap who is an MA student at Oxford Brookes University.
Sian's dissertation has a working title of “Penguins on the March: the impact of Penguin Books on creating a wartime reading culture in the Second World War”.
Trustees also noted that last year's winner Caitlin Holton has now graduated from the University of Edinburgh and that a précis of her dissertation on “The author-illustrator-publisher relationship through the work of Roald Dahl” will shortly be published in The Collector, volume 88.
